Hebbariyeh Temple

Hebbariyeh Temple

The Roman era temple of Habbariyeh, located at the center of the village of Habbariyeh, dates back to the 2nd century AD.

It is considered to be the most southern of Mount Hermon’s temple and is also believed that it was built on top of an earlier structure.

The construction follows the Ionic style, with a portal bearing a Greek inscription.

The site is well preserved and maintained by the local municipality.
